Unless you love, or are, Mike Huckabee, you’ll grant that humans are hairless, brilliant monkeys. This seems to be the theme of Andrew Chesworth’s Monkeytown, the story of a town of people who just love acting like monkeys:
On Chesworth:
I was born in Dover, Delaware in April of 1985. I have since lived in Maryland, Ohio, New York, Illinois, and most recently Minnesota, where I received my BFA in Animation from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, class of 2007.
The path that led me to a career animation is one shared by many animators: a love of the media that began in early childhood, in conjunction with the ability and passion to draw (and sticking with it over the years.)
I currently reside in Minneapolis and work as a director, story artist, and lead character animator at Make, LLC.
I am currently involved in the production of two short films, and am penning a feature length screenplay.
