At least according to Slate’s Jeff Greenfield, who claims that every Presidential race is contested between a Bugs Bunny candidate and a Daffy Duck candidate. Cocksure, coolheaded Bugs – in the case of the Democratic primary battle, Obama – always wins over dour, doubting Donald (Hillary). A great read, athough I tend to disagree with Greenfield’s characterization of Dubya as Bugs – I mean, come on, have you ever seen Elmer Fudd, Jeff!?
