The lesson of Darts in the Snow: don’t ruffle feathers. Or, don’t interrupt a chain of monsters from throwing darts into each other’s butts. Both pretty universal messages.

Disturbing in a really charming way, Octocat is either the work of a 13-year-old animation prodigy named Kevin Peters or a piece of jokey performance art by animation rogue David O’Reilly. In either case, it’s the tale of a half-cat half-octopus that wants to find its parents and likes cups of tea.
